CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE DEADLINE IS JANUARY 18th 2019. We are CLOSED January 17 to February 1st in Newport.
Purchases may be exchanged with receipt
, in original packaging, in original condition as determined by store clerk with in 30 Days of purchase.
Items may be exchanged in person or may be shipped post paid to

This policy is of course extended to accommodate Christmas gift giving and exchange.See Above.
We do not refund money in cash or to credit card accounts. It has never been our policy to do so and it is unreasonable to expect in such a specialty business. Like most stores we will gladly exchange for size, another item or in store credit /BasicIrishLuxury.com credit via a stored value BasicIrishLuxury card (gift card).
Items may be exchanged in original packaging in original condition as determined by us with in 30 Days of purchase. Every item is checked, rechecked and double checked, not only on it's arrival to us, but also many times before it leaves our building. All items leave Basic Irish Luxury in original condition. Items should be inspected upon receipt to ensure that no damage has occurred during shipping. In the extremely rare instance that a shipment is damaged in transit we must be notified immediately upon receipt of any damage so we may contact your chosen carrier USPS, UPS or FedEx on your behalf. We will then notify you of the steps to be taken.
A return authorization is required before you send anything to us.Unless otherwise instructed items must be shipped Post/UPS paid to Basic Irish Luxury 127 Swinburne Row, Brick Market Place, On Thames Street, Newport, RI 02840. Restocking fees may apply.
Items that may not be returned or exchanged.
Any food related item, diamonds and engagement jewelry, communion and christening dresses, wedding bands and special order merchandise, final sale items. All exchanges and returns are at the discretion of the management and are subject to refusal.
Customers should all be aware that Media Products including but not limited to CD's, Cassettes, Vinyl, Video, DVD, Electronic Downloads and Books are not returnable, as mandated by United States Federal Copyright Law, unless deemed defective. In the extremely rare instance that a media item may be defective we will replace it within 10 days of date of original purchase, and for the same exact title only. Allowance are made for standard shipping times.
All Christmas exchanges must be complete by January 18th, 2019.
Our policy is posted throughout the store and at the register year round and is on each receipt. All customers are made aware of our policy and annual Christmas exchange deadline, in fact almost every customer asks. Our policy has not changed since 1979. Every Christmas post season, after making thousands and thousands of folks happy we are forced to endure that one "unreasonable" person. Please do not be that person.
